PICK A CLASS THAT SOUNDS INTERESTING OR FUN TO YOU!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Look at the class descriptions on our website\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/synergyhealthclub.org\/group-exercise-class-descriptions\/\">here<\/a>.\u00a0Pick a class or maybe two that sound like they would be fun and plan a time that you will attend the class.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2. LET THE INSTRUCTOR KNOW IT IS YOUR FIRST TIME.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Show up about 5 minutes early to class, and let the instructor know that it is your first class! They will be able to tell you what to expect from the class, and also give you tips on how to succeed! Please remember \u2013 the instructor is there to help you, if you have questions please don\u2019t hesitate to ask!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>3. LISTEN TO YOUR BODY.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Only you know how you are feeling and what you can handle. Take a break when you need to, breathe, and make sure to stay hydrated!<\/p>\n<h3><strong>4. DON\u2019T OVERTHINK IT.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>You will only need what you typically bring with you to the gym: a water bottle, and proper footwear\u2013a confident attitude also helps! We provide all of the equipment you will need to participate in the class, you can of course bring your own if you would like but it\u2019s not necessary.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>5. DON\u2019T GIVE UP!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Many group fitness classes, Zumba and BODYPUMP \u00ae for example, have a distinct rhythm that takes time getting used to. You may not find that in your first class, but keep trying\u2013you will find it! If you don\u2019t love a class after trying it 2\u20133 times, try another.
