We want to welcome Sophie to the Personal Training department and let you get to know her.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sophie is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and is continuing her education, going to school to get a degree in Kinesiology. She specializes in Strength Training and makes it a priority for herself to #LiveActivley everyday, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">whether that&#8217;s getting in a lift at the gym, taking a group class, going on a walk, hiking with her mom, or anything that will get her moving and living a healthier lifestyle!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Q&amp;A with Sophie\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>How long have you been a team member?<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I have been a team member at Active since we opened up back in July.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>What is your favorite thing to do at the Club as a member?<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My favorite thing to do at the club is lift on the third floor.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>What is your favorite thing about working at Active?\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My favorite part about working at Active is getting to build relationships with not only my coworkers, but also with the members I get to see on a daily basis and getting to be a part of their fitness journeys.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>What motivates you to stay active?<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I stay motivated by seeing physical activity as a lifestyle rather than a chore and finding different forms of exercise that I love and enjoy doing.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>How has being a member here\/working here\/working with a trainer helped you?<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Working at Active and being surrounded by like-minded people who love fitness, as well as being able to see everyone&#8217;s progress throughout their fitness journeys has helped me stay motivated in the gym and led me to become a Personal Trainer!<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>What are your favorite hobbies outside of the Club?\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">My favorite hobbies are working out, hanging out with my friends and family, and going to concerts.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\"><b>Fun fact\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I&#8217;ve jumped out of a plane before.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Sophie\u2019s Philosophy<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201c I strive to help each client reach their fitness goals while falling in love with the process. I believe everyone&#8217;s fitness journey is different and should be a lifestyle change that is enjoyable and sustainable rather than a short term remedy.
