Heather’s Story:<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

“My physical therapist introduced me to Active Wellness Center at Reed’s Crossing and I joined two months after ending breast cancer treatment. It was difficult for me to get back to using weights and the Activate program upstairs seemed like a good fit. I loved the concept of a customized exercise regimen using EGYM because the program does the thinking for me, and it\u2019s easy to stay engaged because it\u2019s always changing.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I have been a regular at the gym three times a week for the past seven months and, although it was challenging at first, I was able to see results quickly.<\/strong> My strength was coming back, my energy was rising, and my mental health was improving. Now, I am finishing my entire workout and warming up on the bike for two to five miles, and I\u2019m feeling more confident.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I would recommend Active at Reed’s Crossing because the personnel are incredibly supportive and helpful. It’s nice to be greeted warmly and attended to when entering a gym! I’m so happy to have a place to come to work out and heal on my journey.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
