With more than three years of experience in the field, he first earned his certification in December 2021 through NASM. In 2024, he furthered his qualifications by recertifying with ISSA as both a Certified Personal Trainer and a Group Exercise Instructor. Houston\u2019s passion for training was fueled by his lifelong involvement in sports and athletics. Beginning with baseball and soccer in his childhood, he eventually became a collegiate wrestler. Today, he is also a professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond his personal athletic pursuits, Houston has always had a deep passion for exercise science and a thirst for learning as much as possible about health and fitness. Over the years, he has come to realize that taking care of the body not only improves daily well-being but also has a profound impact on mental health\u2014helping to reduce anxiety, depression, stress, and improving overall mood.<\/p>\n<p>As a trainer, Houston&#8217;s main goals are not just to help his clients reach their fitness objectives but also to ignite a passion for fitness within them. He strives to inspire his clients to spread that positive energy to others who may benefit from it in their own lives.<\/p>\n<p>Living actively is a key part of Houston\u2019s lifestyle. He maintains a busy schedule\u2014working, training, and staying engaged both inside and outside the gym. He also takes every opportunity to encourage those around him to become more active. Houston comes from a family of three children, where he is the youngest of an older brother and sister. He lives with his girlfriend of seven years, and they just welcomed their beautiful baby girl into the world this past November.<\/p>\n<p>Houston love to #LiveActively! He&#8217;s a professional MMA fighter with an impressive record of 9-1, 2-1 as a pro. He trains almost every day and feels incredibly blessed to pursue this lifelong passion at a professional level. In addition to fighting, Houston enjoys a variety of hobbies, including walking, fishing, hiking, music, news, podcasts, philosophy, science, and literature.
